South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis has announced he will retire from Test cricket after the second Test against India which starts on Boxing Day.     Kallis, who will remain available for selection in the limited-over formats of the game, has played 165 Tests for South Africa, scoring more than 13,000 runs and taking nearly 300 wickets since making his debut as a 20-year-old in 1995           updated on 25 December 2013






2,500 athletes participate in Special Olympics 2013

The Special Olympics 2013 Asia Pacific Games was declared open by The Governor-General of Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency The Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as Newcastle hosted a star-studded Opening Ceremony at Hunter Stadium.
The Opening Ceremony heralded the start of the inaugural Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games which is being staged in Newcastle until 7 December and is the biggest event in regional Australia this year. The athletes will compete in nine sports across seven venues in the Newcastle-Hunter region with competition starting on Monday in athletics, basketball, bocce, badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, ten pin bowling and swimming.




6THNational Inter- Provisional Judo Women Championships  POSTPONED

Pakistan Judo Federation, with great regret, is announcing that it is going to postpone Women Judo Sports event that is 6th National Senior, 1st Junior (U17), & 1st Inter- Provisional Judo Women Championships (2013) LAHORE which was scheduled to be started in the last week of November, 2013 at Lahore.
According to Sec. Masood Ahmed the new dates for the champions will be 28th January to 2nd February, 2014, due to request of some major Units of Pakistan Judo Federation and other unavoidable circumstances.
